What happens after this year?

Something to think about: After this year, there's a lot of jobs to fill. We could be looking at major changes, and dumped contracts. At this point, they have roughly $10.5 mill of cap room to work with from this year, to insure some continuity.

The Packers' unrestricted free agents will include Daniels, defensive tackles B.J. Raji and Letroy Guion, cornerback Casey Hayward, outside linebackers Mike Neal and Nick Perry, kicker Mason Crosby, wide receiver James Jones, fullback John Kuhn, running back James Starks and long snapper Brett Goode. All of those players have been significant contributors to this year's 6-1 Packers.

Others like quarterback Scott Tolzien, offensive lineman Don Barclay and tight end Andrew Quarless are bit players that will also be unrestricted. Also unrestricted is safety Sean Richardson, who is on injured reserve with a herniated disc in his neck that could end his career.

Safety Chris Banjo, linebacker Andy Mulumba and guard Lane Taylor headline Green Bay's list of restricted free agents.

Guion gone. Raji only back if its reasonable.
Neal and Perry...at least one back. I don't think either will command high dollar. Both have a good shot at staying.
Hayward...just don't know. He has never come back and lived up to the hype after his rookie year.
Crosby should be back.
Jones gone.
Kuhn, likely gone.
Starks seems like another that can be kept cheap.

I can see them locking up guys like Daniels and staying ahead on some others rather than resigning some of these others.
