It's amazing the Chargers only scored 20 points yesterday. That was an ugly game, but it sure feels good going into the bye week at 6-0. Now we need to get healthy over the next couple of weeks!

Was an odd game. Go down the field and score...but the offense again sputtered and got hit with another injury.
-Lacy isn't healthy. Needs this bye week to help get that ankle better. -Not sure how hurt Cobb really is. Something still not looking right and he is getting all the focus of every defense. -Get Adams back will be big for that I think. -Janis needs to get in gear as far as gaining more trust and running routes better. So electric when they can get him the ball, but if he can't figure the rest out, all that talent will go to waste. -Oline seems beat up a little too. Struggling for sure. -Whether its lack of trust, or just still being very careful with the ball, Rodgers simply is not making as many plays with his arm. Understandable without Jordy, Adams, and now Montgomery. But he does not seem willing to throw a guy open at this point other than Jones from time to time. And the other guys are not getting the separation they need. Need to open things up a bit and stretch the field some IMO. -Some complained that they did not run more on the last FG drive to take more time off the clock...looked to me like they finally were going for the throat and trying to go ahead more than one score.
-Dline looks good...which is a pleasant surprise. -Coverage in this game actually was pretty good. Just were not getting to Rivers enough, or holding on to INTs when we had a chance. Rivers also made some great throws where only his guy had a chance even when covered well. Just have to take your hat off to that.

Janis is running the routes well enough.it is when Rodgers is pushed and hurried. Janis is not breaking out of the route and going to the "correct area that Aaron Rodgers wants him to go. A big man in Lacy a ankle injury i think is twice as bad for his style of running. I think still they should sit him if not 100% Starks and Harris can handle the reps well enough in a short game or two more to get lacy back to 100%. The Pack will REALLY need him come December. If Abbs keeps returning look for Janis to get even more reps on offense.

cannot wait to see just how bad P. Manning has regressed this season. I get to watch a whole game with him going against a team i know well or better then the others.

I'm not going to sell Manning short. What I see happening in Denver is a more diverse game, with a defense that has stepped up, and shown they can play with the best. Whatever Manning is doing wrong, they're 6-0, just like the Packers.
It's going to be interesting, seeing if Manning uses the same approach as the Chargers did with Rivers. Manning can turn a short passing game into a nightmare for the opposition.
