Well I think it is pay back time for the Packers. I dislike Kap as a pocket passer. keep him in the pocket ,do not let him have the option of running or toss to outlet or deep when he draws the safety in with his sprint to a side line. keep him in the pocket and the packers will rout the niners big time. let him run(Kap) and this could be an upset to the mind. Packers---28 San Fran-- 9

I like the Packers in a cake walk. That said, I see their let up game showing it's ugly head again. It's a Packer win 31-20, but it could have been a wider spread.

I see a letdown this week. Long trip to the West Coast. The Niners win it on a score in the last minute of the game.
Niners - 31 Packers - 28

I see it as a possible trap too. Could happen. Kapernick isn't a bad QB. He can pull a game out once in a while, with his feet. That has to always be in the back of our minds. I'm going with the Packers only because I think Rodgers views this game as one that gives them a chance to totally separate themselves from the rest of the division. The Bears will probably win against the Raiders, but both the Lions & Vikings are going down this weekend.
Also, the scores of the last three games against Rodgers, the 49ers beat us. That won't sit well with Rodgers. Watch for him to light up the sky in the Silicone Valley.

Abbs, is brought up from the Practice squad, to replace Adams who will not play. That gives us down to Cobb,Jones, Montgomery, Janis and Abbs. Any more injuries and we will have nobody to put in a 5 wide receiver set.

Don't be too surprised if Abbs moves up the ladder on that list. I still believe this guy has the tools to be a valuable possession receiver on this team.

pack win 17-3 hold sf to under 200 yards of offense, their fewest in a game since 1964.

Interesting game. The defense was amazing. The way our DBs played was outrageous. They were like glue, and the rush from inside and out was amazing. The best pure defensive showing I've seen in a long time.
I'd like to say it was the Packers being outstanding but I'm going to hold judgement on that. I think Kaepernik has just about run his course with the 49ers. He's lost confidence, and they keep talking about his replacement, who's sitting on the bench, waiting for them to pull the plug.
Their offense is just plain gone.
