It's been fairly quiet in the week leading up to the longest running rivalry in the NFL. Any thoughts on the Packers Bears game and predictions?
I think the Packers should win this one, but the way our defense and special teams have looked I don't say that with much confidence. Going with my gut on this one...
Packers 24 Bears 17

Ok. I will bite,, The Packers away and no pass game yet, they are confussed looking to me. They will run and go with TEs and passes to the rb. So I think the bears take it to the packers secondary and the score is,,,,,, Packer--26 bears---31

I don't believe the Bears have a passing game to be honest. As soon as Cutler has a pick, he'll fold his tent and it will all be on Forte's shoulders.
The Packers should contain him enough to keep the game in hand. I think the last Bears score will be at the end of the game, and not affect the outcome.

I feel like this should be a Packer blowout. It's hard to say week one though!

TW, you must know me a little by now, and I always felt if you get to Cutler early, the reast of the game he is in a hurry not to get hit again. and even tries more so to thread the needle to try and catch up. both of which leads us to Victory.

I'll take this one, in Chicago. Great start for Rodgers & Jones, horrible start for Shields & the defense. They got lucky that Cutler missed so many easy tosses.

Rodgers looked real good- could have had 4-5 TDs if not for stupid penalties. d was a sieve, and couldnt stop the run. Bad formula for next week. packers are now 1 win away from tying the Bears in the head to head series for the first time since the Great Depression.

I'm anxious to get past them in total wins over the course of their competition. That's the last hurdle the Packers have in saying they're the dominant team. I've watched this up hill climb over the years, and hoped I'd live to see us on top.

Our defense is really bad. No intensity and looked timid. Offense was very good and special teams played well. Our D is a huge concern!

Absolutely no inside run stopping capability, and that will never be there, because they have nobody inside who can read gaps. Barrington was failing miserably on it, and without someone guiding Matthews, he was totally out of it play after play.
Of course they don't miss Hawk, do they? His ability to read plays made him a valuable asset. That's history. We have to live with what we have now.

I thought they should have played Pennel more often. His first play he bulled past the center guard and hit and tackled Forte for a loss . Raji just does not look very good. Elliot plays the edge well. I did not like the offensive pass game at all. Rodgers was looking for two players and that was it. He had not one pass over 20 yards and he knew he cannot get any with the players on the field. Wait until we need a big play or stretch the field to help move the chains, that will be the test. after Cutler took a few hits i knew he would start tossing the ball a little sooner. The pick by CM3 was a read from the start. he just watched his eyes.
