well, the Packers looked horrible, Cobb is up in the air his injury could be a few games or if he gets another hit out for the year. Bulaga is an ankle bruise i guess. and Hyde is a neck spamise? 4 out of 5 line men starters out now, Linsley only one left. the defense was bad. oh well

I shut it off at halftime. I don't care that Rodgers did not play. That was an absolute embarrassment even though it was just preseason. Our special teams are just as bad if not worse than last year. Our defense look absolutely sick. The only bright spot was our rookie quarterback actually played a pretty nice game. I hope Cobb is ok but I'm not sure it matters. I don't see this team going very far.

The defense is horrible. I keep hearing them talk about how great Barrington is, and I have to laugh. He's making tackles sideline to sideline, but not better than Hawk. Yet, when it comes to anything resembling filling a gap inside the tackles, and taking away passing routes, he's AWOL. As far as the rest of the linebackers, say what? Do any of them know how to play the game? They make a play and screw it up with a penalty. Absolutely no lane discipline, and as far as the secondary.... I had the feeling they haven't got a clue as to their coverage. One play after another going for yardage against them, that shouldn't have happened.
QB situation. Hundley should have been picked 4 times. They choked, and only got one. His arm is solid, and he has a strong pass. Just doesn't seem to be able to time his routes as well as he should.
Blanchard, in my opinion, is a better QB. He was lofting balls just over defenders heads, and if the Packer receivers would have had decent hands, he would have lit it up out there. Like I say. He's a better QB, regardless of what the Packers brain trust thinks, or will admit.
My knock against Hundley focuses on the fact he only reads one guy on routes, regardless of what the announcers said. He read "White" all the way, one play after another, and it was totally obvious. Passes to everyone else were all over the place, because he was not ready to make those throws. It was alluded to that he had "happy feet," and that is not the sign of a good QB.
I keep thinking about all the hoopla about how deep the Packers are on offense and defense, and now I'm looking at a team that's already struggling because of injuries, and we haven't even reached the opening game. It's difficult getting on board a train that's about to derail.
