I think this article pretty much points out the consummate pro that Jordy Nelson has been with the Packers. I can remember when people were telling me he'd never stick. Not fast enough - not big enough - not strong enough. Give me five Jordys and I will show you the greatest group of receivers in the history of the Packers. Some other interesting perspectives in this article, including that of how Abby has progressed after his season ending injury last year. sports.yahoo.com/news/packers-wr-jordy-nelson-catching-passes-hip-surgery-223830677--nfl.html

I really have no concerns with J Nelson and his hip. He is one player that is honest enough to read what he says and know he will be ready to go come first week. I have concerns with Janis(all the talent in the world and size with speed, but not to bright , from what i have read and seen) that is what has held him back, Abbs, who knows? he needs more lbs to just survive the NFL. he is not fast, but does the things to get open. Adams needs to make that next step up, and from what i just got from Aaron Rodgers this kid is ready. then we have the big Montgomery , he i hope pans out as our guy for kick returns and let him settle in to see if he can take the slot position and when Cobb is gone we will see little or maybe even a better receiver there. I really like our top 5 receivers.

I think he will be there and working with the regulars, when camp opens.

Nelson and Cobb are in the top three for best receiver combos in the NFL today. I really think they are that good. If they put together another big year like last year i wonder how many tosses that leaves Adams? and i think If Rodgers feels good about Adams he will throw even fewer to the TE position, He has little trust in that group except on R.Rodgers in the red zone. going to be interesting on how He divides up the pass attempts. I realize he looks for the most open player, but he does favor the ones he trusts first. Look how he treated Boykin once he realized he was not able to get open and make the catch (like he did before his injury)

Regardless of how they rate the pairs of receivers, I see Cobb & Nelson as being the best pair. I say that because of the number of catches made by other receivers, because one, or both of these guys, end up being double-teamed.
Then there's the "win factor." These two contribute big catches for wins more often than any other pair.

the combo last year lead the NFL receivers with the most big plays than any body.

Exactly my point. Way too many people over think this, and add intangibles that don't matter. It becomes a beauty contest, not a reality check.
