Looks like Guion's legal troubles were not bad enough for the Packers still to want him around. Will likely face some time off from the league though. Raji back too and reports are he is looking strong again. Hopefully moving back to NT is good for him.
But signing these 2 helps them focus more on CB and LB early in the draft.

They appear to have put a lot of money into those two. Upwards of $5.5 mill. I'd imagine the Guion contract is "subject to playing," as a game to game contract. They could take back any percentage of it based on games he's suspended, and rest assured, he will be suspended. That would be at the start of the season, so we'd be a little weak up the gut at the start. Let's say 4 games, and at least one or two getting back to playing condition after being totally away from the Packers and facility for four weeks.
Raji will have incentives. Reach them and make good bucks. Probably a game to game basis in some respects, with a front guarantee of part of it.
I think they still look to bolster the middle of that line in the draft. Probably after the second round.

Guion got a three game suspension. The Pack does have some players who are on the bubble at his position, so these three games will have an impact on who they could keep or even if Guion gets back on the field. one of those players just might get in a groove and play really well, then what happens to him? looks like a tough choice coming up.

Guion is like way too many other athletes today. No respect for authority, or the rights of others. They think they can do what they please, and nobody can stop it. I hate reading sports news today, as one article after another deals with these stupid players end up breaking the law. Maybe there should be a one and done policy in sports, at the college and pro level.

you I thought of that myself, just think if at first it was one and done, that would leave positions open for many other very good players who never would have had a shot at playing maybe, then the real class act players would be the only ones playing. But,,, what would those bad boys be doing then? they would not have the money, or a paying job, ,,so what is left for a bad as-- with little common sense and more than likely little education? they would be selling the drugs and ranking the cities with crime. I wonder how many cells we can build? Movie stars should be included also. TV stars. Congress.CEO'S, Lawyers,Mayors, They all LACK Morals..

Celebrities get away with everything except racism. That's where people seem to draw the line. Even Sharper got away with rape, consistently, because of his celebrity. Now it's come to a head, and he's going to do hard time, for a long time.
He should have been stopped a long time ago.
These gun charges always concern me. I don't like the average person carrying guns at all.
