I can see why the Head coach is going to try Manizel. Hoyer is having a tough go lately. But I am not fan of the Hot Dog "Jonny Football" and his money pinching fingers and his antics on the side lines . All this and he has not played as a starter. This week he gets his start. The team I know will be working hard to make him look good, cover his mistakes. So this game He really needs to look good, By NOT making dumb mistakes. keeping his head in the game plan. I personally think he is not going to last more than a 2-3 years in the NFL. He is small of build, He will get mangled the more he plays. It is proven that QB's who run first and are not all that accurate never last long. (Wilson is an exception to the general rule, but he runs when needed, has a good arm is accurate and plays within the system. others like J campell, Keapernick, RG3 , Vick and others were never good QBs' but had there days or moments. I hope he plays his best game but I see him not doing well when he needs to play the entire game in the NFL. What do you all think about Manziel this early? Does he have the "it"?

I guess I'm not a Manzeil fan either. I just don't see him being big enough to pla in the NFL. Of course I was wrong about Doug Flutie, so who am I to figure he's right? I think he's more hype than real to be honest.

I am not a Manziel fan either. He's a hotdog with an inflated ego. I don't care enough to hope he fails, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see him planted on his back several times on the highlight reel.

He's already a success. He was paid enough front money that if he's smart, he's vested in a way that will make it easy for him the rest of his life. If not, that would be his own problem.
I'm so tired of these overrated QBs coming out of college football that run offenses that would be shredded by defenses in the NFL. They come out, play on the outskirts of the game, make a few bucks, then end up somewhere running their own fitness centers.
If I was an athletic kid, and had opportunities in college football, and I'd be more interested in a college program that would fit me in at another position. Better chance of making the pros.

manziel is more likely to be a bust than a stud at this level he was hyped in college because wity a good team around you yopu can throw for 4-5-600 yards a game. in the pros hes not going to do squat look at Tebow. did everything you could possibly do in college, and might be the worst QB ever to make the playoffs in NFl history. I mean the guy completed TWO paasses all game and his team still won.

Manziel is SMALL, they lie a lot about his size each week he has gotten bigger. but in reality he is under 6' he is soaking wet maybe 190 lbs, and he has a body of a brainic not a body builder. he is skinny under developed physically and he has a big hea donhis shoulders, plus he runs the 40 in only 4.5 that was great in school but now he has linebackers that are 240- 250 and can run it just as fast. He may knuckle down and study harder, but unless he adds 20 lbs muscle fast and learns to practice and study hard each week(unlike what he has not done yet but this las t week so he says) he is nothing he will be a broken down slow footed wise guy watching TV not playing.

I see Manzel is making news again, all bad, he is rough with his girl friend , left marks on her, he was drinking, and came out in April from months of the alcohol drug program. I guess he thinks he is ok to drink, just a few? he is undersized and a fool. I stand by my opinion that he will never get passed three to 4 years in the NFL if he continues his ill ways, Right now, his money is keeping him out of more trouble. but how long can they cover for the idiot?

Now that Johnny has been given the job as the starter for the remaining games he did what is natural for him. He went out on a 2 day drinking /party binge. I really dislike the guy, he will be a loser in about 3 years..

The Browns have some real problems. Unless they get a good QB they can develop in the draft, we're going to see a string of coaches go through their franchise, all fired because there's nobody under center who can win.
The fact is, the only teams that do well in the NFL have top level QBs. Without one, you can't do better than be average. There aren't too many of those guys that come along over each decade.

Kap could be moving on to the browns. He would be better than Party boy.

If Kap ends up in a Browns uniform, it's going to set their program back another 3 years. They will have to stick with him, and eat all the QB money they've wasted.
To be honest, that would be a poor move for the Browns, unless he pretty much came at the veterans minimum. The guy isn't exactly the kind of personality that gets along well with other players, or coaches. He's an ego on two legs, and the "team" definitely comes after "me" in his hierarchy of importance.

It sounds like Manziel could be benched this week. There is apparently a video of him dinking an expensive bottle of champagne during their bye week. Another idiot. Kap would be another bust for the Browns and they can't afford to make another mistake at QB.
