A friend, who claims to be a Vikings fan, wanted me to feel sorry for him, was crying about the loss of both a starting offensive lineman and QB Cassell due to injury this past week. Then he told me how there are other injuries, and how the whole world seems to be picking on Adrian Peterson. I looked at him and laughed. "Are you crazy? I asked. "For openers, don't put Adrian Peterson in the same class as someone who was injured." He didn't like it much, but that seems to be the theme of Vikings supporters. Don't pick on Peterson! The guy needs to own up to what he did. As far as injuries, they happen to all teams. The Vikings had nothing going for them coming into the season so they can't exactly say their season has been "destroyed" by injuries. Nobody figured them to win more than about 5 games, some figured less. Minnesota fans should be thankful. They're getting a new stadium they can boycott the team at. My guess is that had this Peterson bit come out in the open before the people voted for a new stadium, they'd be the Los Angeles Vikings instead of still in Minnesota. I hate to say this but this is what the Viking fans deserve. They've never seen to understand the morality that should surround the game. They're like a low-class Oakland Raiders fan base, if there's such a thing. sports.yahoo.com/news/vikings-cassel-season-134709251--nfl.html

It all makes it much easier living in Viking Land. I know I don't feel sorry for them!
