I like these choices. Especially that of our own Fritz Shurmur. He was the ultimate defensive coordinator who knew how to make half time adjustments better than anyone I've ever seen. Fritz could analyze the opposition and make changes between plays better than the majority of defensive coaches could game plan in advance. We can talk about Favre getting us to the Super Bowl but in all honesty, it was Fritz' ability to utilize defensive players in a way that made the team the toughest in the league. I hated seeing him leave GB, and I was saddened when he died. He was one of those guys who knew the game but didn't understand "the politics" associated with everything above being a coordinator.
