Lets see if I got this right. This past year, This guy got a helping hand to insure he wasn't booted out of college football. Now he's getting a "pass" on an obvious theft. I think we know about where college football is when it comes to their players staying between the lines of honesty. It also points out just how dishonest the program is at his school, that they have this kind of clout. sports.yahoo.com/news/heisman-winner-winston-suspended-baseball-180407479--ncaaf.html

It's typical as to how so many SEC schools deal with issues. They sweep them under the rug right next to the "non-student athlete" situation that prevails. It's sad, but that's how they maintain their lofty rankings.
I don't think the NCAA will ever really crack down on them. They carry too much clout, and until it becomes so obvious that even government is looking at it, we won't see anything done.

it is a shame that a person just thinks because they are highly regarded as a player and the school caters to him that he can do anything he wants. I if his parents, would be ashamed of him and tell him so, for stealing items he can pay for, it is not a fun thing to do. I really disliked the incident where it says he took a cup saying it was for water and then filled it up more than once with soda. he is a punk. Now if he was still on the board at number 21 in the first would you draft him?

I wouldn't touch this guy with the last pick in the draft. He's going to be a problem for whomever gets him, when they do. He's going to be in trouble regularly.
