Is it just me, or is it becoming more prevalent that guys in both college and the NFL seem to get the impression that it's part of their "game" to find ways to violate the law?
Then I see where the kid playing basketball for the University of Michigan tested positive for marijuana usage, so he opted out of school because he'd face suspension, and is going into this year's NBA draft. If I was the NBA, I'd tell him, "Give us a call, after the suspension has ended next spring."
We have to find a way to stop the nonsense. Athletes have a problem that's several times larger than the average population.

I still think that a player in any sport needs to obtain his degree BEFORE he gets a contract to play.most get in school BECAUSE they are getting funding for playing. If they got there own money to pay then stop any time you want and try out, and if you fail go back to school with your own cash. other wise stay in school until you get that degree.

At least be ineligible to go to the pros until his class has graduated.
