This is another reason to keep programs out of the hands of the Feds. We thought "Cash for Clunkers" was mismanaged, Obamacare is a page ripped right out of Mad Magazine. As I have said repeatedly, Obamacare has taken a healthcare system that was problematic for a few and made it mediocre for everyone. Millions of people are still going to be uninsured under Obamacare because of the Supreme Court rulings. Have we seen any of the 'Einsteins' in Washington shore up the holes made by the Supreme Court ruling as it relates to Title XIX funding, etc?: WASHINGTON (AP) -- Thousands of people with serious medical problems are in danger of losing coverage under President Barack Obama's health care overhaul because of cost overruns, state officials say. At risk is the Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan, a transition program that's become a lifeline for the so-called "uninsurables" — people with serious medical conditions who can't get coverage elsewhere. The program helps bridge the gap for those patients until next year, when under the new law insurance companies will be required to accept people regardless of their medical problems. In a letter this week to Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, state officials said they were "blindsided" and "very disappointed" by a federal proposal they contend would shift the risk for cost overruns to states in the waning days of the program. About 100,000 people are currently covered. news.yahoo.com/states-fear-loss-health-care-064756735.html

just read a letter from the white House, they say 6 out of 10 Americans that do not have health care can now be able to afford good health care for $100 dollars a person per month. My question to everyone,, is that a reasonable price? Family of 4 would be $400 bucks a month.

Obamacare is flawed. It needs to be fixed. But, the tea party idea is not to fix it, but to get rid of it, and have nothing. I don't understand why, since over half the tea party supporters are actually in need of medical themselves.
Even honest conservative information is showing that the cost of insurance is dropping for people where they've already started to enact the Obamacare framework. That should tell us all something.
As for cost, $100 a month is pretty cheap if you ask me. My wife and I pay over $100 a month of Medicare, and we pay over $200 a month for a decent supplemental policy. That's for each of us. That means we pay over three times as much, so I wonder why there's such a discrepancy? I think changes need to be made in Medicare as well. The amount of graft from doctors, hospitals, and clinics, as well as hardware and drug suppliers within the system is horrendous. I'm going to guess it's probably over 30% of the total outlay from the government.
The whole thing about it being a losing cause by providers is a crock. They get twice as much, if not more, than they do through insurance companies for covered procedures, and it's nothing but a smoke screen - their complaints.
