The requirements in this is going to kill my school districts. I don't know how they can make us abide by all of these rules and not fund it. I will be forced to cut a ton of staff if they don't make some changes!  |

It's too bad it became so twisted prior to heading to a vote in Congress.
There has to be a way that this program can be made to work, through proper modification.

That's why I was against it from the time they rolled out the plan. It was made that way intentionally, by those opposed to it, so it would have to be scrapped.
If you look at the structure of it, the nuts and bolts are pretty much along the lines of the Romney plan in Mass, but modified to make it cumbersome, and unworkable on a cost basis.
Destroying it by implementing it. A ploy that's only used by politicians who are devious, instead of interested in the integrity of their jobs.

When I get more time I will explain what this is doing to my districts. We will either have to cut staff like crazy or be bankrupt within 2-3 years. I can't imagine being a small business owner!

well the other big programs- medicare and ss- were very limited in thier initial forms, but were expanded and modified over time. i believe the affordable care act will be modified as well. whether repiublicvans will allow them to be modified, well i doubt it, they hate this version of the act, as evidenced by the dozens of attempts to repeal it in the house. in order for it be tweaked and modified so it saves money and priovides better care, you need to get around the obstructionists in congress.
