During the campaign, the Goose-Stepper in Chief promised no new tax increases for those making less than $250,000.00
Yet, he will sign into law tax hikes that affect the middle class by eliminating last year's payroll tax reduction. I don't know about you, but most lower income families I know can't afford the $1,300 to $2,000.00 a year tax hikes.
Thank God we have expanded welfare to catch them in the safety net.
Way to stand for lower and middle income class workers libruls!

That's not a new tax. That's the existing tax that was just "on vacation," but still on the books.
He never said that wouldn't end.
But nice try at spin.

he would have given no new tax, if it were on the table still to bargin with, the Republicans wiped that off . you seem to think just because the President says he wants to do something it is done, but what has happened the last few years is the republican party has done all they can to NOT COMPROMISE and ruin this country in spite of themselves. you notice even the vote was passed in the senate but the House ?/ how long did it take? and why did they do that? and how much did the other side have to give up to just get some things passed that benifit the People of the country? The Preisdent will sign a bill that will not increase the middle class taxes. no cuts in Social Security, medicare, medcaid.

Bull! The right has done nothing but compromise the integrity of both us as a nation, and the integrity of our people, through an orchestrated attempt to turn it into a white ran country with no minority influence.
Their actions over the last two years can only be classified as racist, and intent on returning us to the era when they carefully eliminated anyone who wasn't white from voting, or having any kind of a life that wasn't formed through groveling to white society.
I've watched one racist prick after another stand up and call it "religious," and decided that they aren't religious, they're just racist through and through.
What's most insulting is the lack of intelligence on the part of people who actually believe the Koch Bros, and guys like Adelson, putting millions upon millions into getting people elected who will do their bidding, and supporting lobbies that are against every fiber of human equality. It's time for those who believe in people having rights, not money, to step up and throw these SOBs out of government!
Sitting here and saying Obama is a liar over that damned tax issue, when he is going to save you thousands, is absurd. He saved your ass, and your occupation, and you can't see it, because of what? He's a Democrat? He's black? He's not a country boy? He isn't for doing away with welfare?l
What is the real reason?

He's not a country boy as demonstrated by the following Obama quote:
“Although there are an awful lot of farms in Illinois, in the neighborhood where I live, the main livestock is squirrels,” said Mr. Obama, who lives on Chicago’s South Side. “So I don’t pretend to know everything there is to know about agricultural issues.”

I was referring to you as being a country boy.
I was too. Then I went in the military, and fighting beside men of various ethnic backgrounds, I came to the realization there was no room in society for bigotry and racism.
I can remember when there was a migration of people from the old Eastern Bloc countries of the Soviet Union, where people were escaping to the US, for a better life. I remember how people called them "DPs." What I saw was people who had left their homes to come to a nation where they would be given every opportunity to succeed. I also saw those who used these people like animals, and how they accepted it, working hard, to insure that the next generation of their family would have it better.
I've fought for their rights, and I'll continue to fight for the rights of the poor in this country, because I believe we've dumped an impossible load on their shoulders, and the conservative elements who are driving the right are trying to use guilt as a way of keeping them down. They don't want them up. They want that cheap labor they can push around, and discard, like a used condom.

I think most can agree that "Conservatives" are not Conservative.

You're right. They try to use that badge as a shield to hide their agenda.
