Horse Face Kerry Nominated for Secretary of State

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama on Friday nominated Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, one of Washington's most respected voices on foreign policy, as his next secretary of state.

The nomination hearing for John "I was for Benghazi security before I was Against It" Kerry should be interesting.

Nothing like having muddled, double talking foreign relations.

I'm not overly excited about Kerry's nomination. I've always felt he was a counterfeit hero when it came to Nam. he submitted himself for a Purple Heart for getting a scrape, but not even in a combat situation.

I count myself amongst many who didn't even allow ourselves to be submitted when we were injured during combat. If it wasn't directly related to the combat itself, it really isn't justified, in my opinion.

So... Kerry wouldn't be my choice, but I do think he'll do a decent enough job, because he's not a far left liberal, and will bring a decorum to the job, not unlike Clinton did.
