I really can't stand Bloomberg's mob rule mentality.
He is seeming to suggest that rights are flexible and subject to voter ratification.
As he stated Bloomberg (not verbatiim), "There will always be someone against some sort of law, yet we still have laws. This is a Democracy where a majority vote for the laws.
One problem with that bucko!, No matter the opinions of Americans, certain rights are inalienable and not subject to soda policing buffoons like you.

You're right, and you're wrong. We elect officials, and in the process, we give them the right to make decisions for us.
Our stance has to be that if we don't like those decisions, we elect new people, and get those decisions changed.
That said... Bloomberg is a putz, and I think he believes he has more authority than he has. He probably won't be re-elected.

Yes, we elect people to make decisions on our behalf, but they can't make illegal decisions, even though duly elected. Glad we agree Bloomberg's a putz.

My dislike for politicians is on an individual basis. To me, their job is to help move this nation forward, not create empires. Bloomberg is an empire builder, and it's based on Bloomberg's law.
