I agree. Now lets hope that both sides of the aisle understand they've been given a mandate to get things done, not turn it all into a stand-off.

The only good thing that really happened was that the Koch brothers found out that their millions poured into campaigns had a very limited effect. Even their support of Thompson in Wisconsin showed a backlash against him, instead of a help.
Crossroads, which was the big Thompson support pac advertiser was the one that was largely supported by the Kochs.

Really, is that why all 3 branches of Government in Wisconsin are now owned again by the Republcans? I think the Koch brothers will continue to thrive. We talk about waste of money on the national level, how about on the state level here in Wisconisn just to arrive at the same place as 2010. I am finding Wisconsin politics very interesting and by interesting, I mean, schizophrenic. We have the openly gay Tammy Baldwin beating the privately, oral sex receiving Tommy Thompson. Baldwin could easily be appointed to Lead the Politburo in the former USSR. But then, you have the people of Wisconsin appoint a Republican controlled Government.

Yes, the Republicans do control the state government in Wisconsin, but if you look carefully at the attitude of those within it, below Walker, they've taken a much more moderate stance on their address of issues. Walker no longer controls them like we saw in the past. We're seeing free thinking individuals whose whole intent of serving is based on their constituency.
Of course there will be a few exceptions to that rule, but quite honestly, the majority have changed their tune, and have moved to a more moderate position.
Is having the Republicans in control of Wisconsin a bad thing? According to the people it isn't. If that's what they want, and they govern like they should, why shouldn't they be in control?
I think people are going to see a lot of changes in Wisconsin, and if a person believes it is time for change, they might like the direction it goes.
