We don't care who you vote for, as long as you vote.
If you don't bother to vote, don't complain about government.

i voted, just after i took my daughter to school, i drove to the polling site and in Pa. they are asking for proof of who you are. next year it goes into the state law, right now they are just trying to get people to have a form of photo id avaible. I was the 82 nd person to vots at my voting station. Never missed a vote since i turned 18, even while serving my country i got an absentee vote in. still proud to be an American!

They showed my wife in one district and me in another district. They straightened that out real fast, based on our address. My district was shown wrong, hers wasn't.
It happened because of redistricting, and quite a few people fell into that category.
The amazing thing is that one of the candidates not on our ballot had spent a bundle of money trying to round up votes in our area, because the officials had even strayed on reporting boundaries to them.
So much for redistricting without making it totally transparent to the public. Redrawing lines should almost be done in a public forum if you ask me.
Fortunately, we were able to vote for the people we wanted to retain, and against those we didn't.
Despite my comments that I would vote a "straight Democratic ticket," that never happened. In the end, I voted for just about an equal number of each. I voted against a liberal judge whom I thought was beyond impartial in his findings.

I made sure I voted. I couldn't imagine surviving 2-4 years without griping.

i voted early before going in with my mom to work. then i stayed up to about 2 getting all the returns. obama took wisconsin, and won all the states he won in 2008 except indiana and North Carolina. When all the Votes are in, he'll have close to the number of votes he got in 2008, which was 69 million. Wisconsin had 70% turnout, Ozaukee had nearly 90% turnout.what struck me on election day was the sucess of gay causes and gay candidates. all 4 pro gay causes won, and we added a gay senator and a bi congressman. many of the nuttier congresscritters lost, including West in Florida. Bachmann came within 4000 votes of being tossed out too.
