Where do you get the impression that Romney in office will increase American jobs because of tax cuts to the wealthy? When Bush passed those cuts, it didn't increase jobs, it actually turned the wealthy towards foreign manufacturing, because they could then use US tax cuts to finance cheap labor operations in socialist manufacturing markets. It's disingenous saying anything other than that happened, because even the right wing think tanks have said the same thing.
Now, let's look at the "loopholes" that the right wants to close. They want to close loopholes like interest on home mortgages into taxable income. They want to remove tax deductions for education of our kids. They want to remove tax deductions on nearly damned near everything that the middle class gets as a tax break today, including the tax break for number of kids.
All that hurts the middle class. Does it bother the wealthy? Hardly. They'll pay those taxes, but get ten-fold back in deductions on their higher incomes, and that too will go into overseas investment.
Romney's theory of what "small business" really is, is a pure joke. Companies doing billions of dollars worth of business will be "small business" in the scope of their plan, while the 97 to 98% of small businesses, worth $250k or less, won't receive one damned benefit.
Read between the lines of their BS. Nothing they propose does anything but make people like the Koch Bros richer, and everyone at $250k income or less, even worse off.

Complete BS.
NO where has Romeny ever stated he planned on closing those deductions. He flat out said that he would not approvate any closing of loopholes that affect the middle class. In fairness, Obama said he'd never raise taxes on the middle class, yet here we set with new taxes on the middle class, so I understand your hesitation to accept what Romney says.
Obama seems to think that if we raise the taxes back to Clinton era that he will have automatic success, which isn't true either.
Clinton actually had a tax base to tax. Obama does not, except the rich for which every analsyt has shown you can tax them at 100 percent and it still won't cover Obama's spending.
I believe Romney will open up the Keystone pipeline creating jobs. I believe he will open up the industustry to mine our vast recsources of natural gas and clean coal. Americans need jobs, they want jobs.
America needs to rebuild and I don't see how a record of failure over four years is somehow a magical recipe for success in the future.
I simply don't understand that. Romney isn't my first choice, but I have a feeling he'll be the Repbluican version of Bill Clinton, though not as slick. He will co-opt Democratic ideas and make them his own. He will govern from the center for which is where the majority of Americans rest. Obama does not. He governs from the position of a very minor few.

You don't get it, do you? A company doing nearly a billion dollars in business is considered medium income to Romney. He also doesn't include mega-corporation holdings either.
Unbelievable! I thought you were a student of politics, and knowledgeable about business.
A hedge fund is a "small business" in his vocabulary. So are the Koch bros, by simply counting each corporation separate from each other as an LLC. Hell! According to his way of differentiating large from small, anyone with foreign holdings would be considered small business, as long as their total manufacturing/employee base didn't exceed large numbers.
If you don't really understand the way he's adjudging them, how can you sit here and say I don't know what I'm talking about.

You really should quit trying to over-generalize and listening to Joe Biden, it will be the political death of you.
I am quite certain that a man [Romney, not Obama] who has been in business for over 25 years knows what a small business is as should the rest of America so their ignorance isn't take advantage of by political hucksters.
Small Business defined by the United States Government:
Manufacturing: Maximum number of employees may range from 500 to 1500, depending on the type of product manufactured; • Wholesaling: Maximum number of employees may range from 100 to 500 depending on the particular product being provided; • Services: Annual receipts may not exceed $2.5 to $21.5 million, depending on the particular service being provided; • Retailing: Annual receipts may not exceed $5.0 to $21.0 million, depending on the particular product being provided; • General and Heavy Construction: General construction annual receipts may not exceed $13.5 to $17 million, depending on the type of construction; • Special Trade Construction: Annual receipts may not exceed $7 million; and • Agriculture: Annual receipts may not exceed $0.5 to $9.0 million, depending on the agricultural product.
As noted, your billion dollar reference for Hedge Funds doesn't make it Mister under the "Services" defintion: flame on!

Is that what you call heavy lifting PC? I'd call it something else but I won't go there right now... My take is this. I've been pretty clear on this board that I am not pleased with the job Obama has done to this point. The number one reason I'm having a hard time even thinking about voting for Obama is Obamacare scares the life out of me. I see what it will do to my two small school districts and it will destroy us. In fact, it will be easier for us to pay the fine rather than be forced to follow the new requirements. If you are going to mandate these things you better fund it! We all know that will never happen. I also think you will see a lot of small businesses that will be forced to lay people off or only hire part time. This is not a good plan. I do think we need to find a way to fix the healthcare system in this country and I honestly don't know how to get that done because the costs are out of control. I also have not heard any specific plan from Romney and I watched Ryan avoid that question like the plague the other night which concerns me even more. I don't think R&R have a solid plan and I don't think they have what it takes to turn this country around. I see how badly the middle class is struggling right now in this country and I don't believe Romney gives a rip. He's going to please his high stakes supporters. When I listen to Romney and Ryan, it just doesn't make sense. You can't possibly do everthing they claim they are going to do and balance the budget and reduce the deficit. With that said, Obama sure has hell hasn't come up with a plan that will work either. To sum it all up, I don't have a clue how I'm giong to vote. Both of them are puppets without a solid plan. We need someone to come in and stop trying to please everyone and make some tough decisions to get this country back on track.

Obama wants to make us a third world nation like Kenya.
My vote is for Romney.
He may not be the answer, but at least he's American.
