No contest. Biden came to the debate prepared. Ryan didn't. Making matters worse, Ryan couldn't produce any data to support his position on taxes, foreign policy, or for that matter - anything - during the entire session.
As bad as Obama did in debate one, Biden did twice as good in debate two.
Looking forward to the next two Presidential debates between now and election day.
I expect Obama will be carrying a big switch when he arrives at the next one.

I watched it all, Ryan, was weak, and kept repeating qusetions to Biden when he had no answers for Biden that made sense. Lets face it , Romney and Ryan if elected will kill the working person and get us into a war that we may not ever recover from.

What puzzles me is how we keep hearing on the media that Ryan was the winner. Apparently some people don't see the substance of the discussions. I guess that tells us where we're heading as a nation.

I know, itis because these people have got so much wealth. I said all along that i think Romney will win, because he spent the money. That is just my opinon, but i really believe that this no matter how much better Oboma represents himself will lose because of a pay -off. this time. The local newpaper here called it a draw.

I thought Biden blew him away. Not even close. I was shocked to hear how many thought Ryan won...

It points towards how little importance people place on the substance of the actual discussion. I suppose, for those who have the attention span of a piss ant, they didn't see what we did.

When Biden started laughing about 23 million people being out of work, I cringed.
When Biden started giggling over Iran becoming nuclear, I shook my head.
When I heard Biden chuckle about not knowing what was going on with the security situation in Benghazi, Libya, I began to cry.
And when I saw our Vice President of the United States throw the intelligence community under the bus to give him political cover, I switched the channel.
I agree that Ryan didn't shine, but Biden didn't win. He bullied and he embarrased me as an American.

Obviously you looked at the whole debate through right-wing colored glasses, and didn't see that Biden was laughing at the feeble attempts by Ryan to paint a picture without paint or a brush.

Umm, the reason Biden was acting as he was is because he doesn't care about the working poor as long as he and the big man can retain power in Washington.
He smirks and he laughts because he has nothing else to offer. He was the fool in the room.
Ryan did have a weak performance, but I really wonder how much you could forward your own idea when being interupted by the moderator and Mr. Bsiden 124 times.
You'd barely get your name out.
Mr. Biden short changed the American people through his circus acts and shenanigans by not allowing two sides to be presented so that the public could make the deceision as to which position was the best.
He bullied Ryan by putting a muzzle on nearly 50 percent of Americans who believe the Romney/Ryan way is the best way.

When pressed for specifics they sure don't come up with any!

You know full well the policies being set forth by Romney and Ryan because we pay attention to politics. To many, these debates are the only input many in the general public will have to decide who they will or will not vote for.
Why are you in the political forum if you are clueless about politics or the vision that Romney has for America.
I'll give you a small clue. It starts with the President of the Unites States being white again. The rest will work itself out.

Hell! You can't spell out any of the Romney policies. There aren't any. It's a total impossible to reduce the deficit, reduce taxes, and do it by taking away loopholes that are associated with middle class people and their incomes. Not once did he indicated a penny of the loopholes would come from closing business loopholes that are only there for the wealthy.
About the only thing that either has said that has any substance is that they will do away with subsidies for NPR. Big f-ing deal! That's less than .01% of the total budget. A mere pittance.
What Romney is dreaming will happen, and won't, is just like this nation saw from Calvin Coolidge. Romney has the same misguided belief that the people who broke the country will fix it on their own. What a crock of s--t! We all know better. They'd turn this into a fascist state in a heartbeat.

Yeah TW, Obama is doing a bang up job reducing the deficit, the debt and creating jobs. You want a talk about a facist nation, just wait 'til Obama's government tells you what to do with your take home pay.
Try defining a crock of s hit that doesn't involve your current super hero.

Please explain to me how you can reduce the deficit without massive cuts in government employment? Now, tell me how you can do it without reductions in Medicaid, and welfare programs, that the Supreme Court have held as required?
Apparently you forgot that Bush cut taxes to the wealthy to create jobs, and you still haven't answered the question as to where in hell those jobs are, and why we should keep those tax breaks considering the extra money they've gotten, has gone into foreign investment/manufacturing.
No. Romney doesn't have a plan. He just has a big mouth, and so does Ryan. There's nothing of substance coming from either one of them, because they fear irritating the rich bastards who are their total support for their campaigns.
You can try, until hell freezes over, to convince me, and anyone else who can think for themselves, that the Koch Bros,, Marvin Adelson, or any other rich SOBs are putting millions into right wing support because they care for people, and the nation?
You got to be kidding!

Okay you got me TW. Obama's approach is better. No jobs. Tax a tax base that doesn't (its fact the middle class got taxed heavily with Obamacare) exist and keep borrowing 30 percent of government expenditures while increasing government spending, debt and deficits. Wonderful formula for success in America. You win. I do have to tell you, if you keep reciting Rachel Madcow, the social programs you and I support will be decimated. The rich are also supporting Obama. Go figure.
