Let's face it. Romney's comments about cutting taxes are based on pure fantasy. Even his closest supporters know it, and say nothing. The man is doing everything he can to bamboozle the average American into believing he really has a plan, and in reality, all he really wants to do is cut taxes to the rich, and take away the few tax write-offs left for the average person. It's pure lunacy. After reading this article, you'll probably come away shaking your head, wondering how anyone could possibly buy his BS! That is... unless you want to vote for a man who is clueless, just because he represents a "party." factcheck.org/2012/08/romneys-impossible-tax-promise/

TW, i think that he is a very smart person, he just did not become a rich person all through his family, It took years of hiring help to guide him, it took years for him to feel nothing towards the working person. it took years for him to be cold as ice. it took him lots of time to cut American jobs (all while making a profit here) and then moving over seas to add to the countries poor by NOT paying them better wages(like half or 1/3 of what an American got) instead he paid the going rate and a little more to get the good workers to work for him over there, then he had little to none in taxes over there brought the product to the USA cheaper than what can be done here . and DOUBLED HIS PROFIT, all while the then former employee had to find min wage jobs and lose there homes or cars, Or in what people like him say>TO SACRIFICE so to pay there bills. He is really a great guy.

Happycrapper, please be more sarcastic.
TW, Obama's plan is what? Tax the rich so they can pass the expense down to what is left of the middle class?
Obama's biggest problem is he has created an air of uncertainty by not taking a leadership position and kicking economic decisions down the road one year at a time.
Business's don't know how to invest, where to invest or the long-term implications of Obamacare. Perhaps, if Obama would quit trash talking hard working American's, he'd understand everyone is ready and willing to work...lead the way Mr. Prezzi of the United Stezzi!

Saying that Obamacare is at the root of the economic problem is pure hogwash. I guess that means Obamacare has put the Chinese economy in the crapper? That EU is destroying itself internally because of Obamacare?
Obamacare might be the only damned thing that keeps half or more of all Americans off welfare if we hit rock bottom with a full blown depression, like what we appear to be heading towards.
As far as it "eliminating jobs," I am still trying to figure out what jobs they're talking about. Not some "phantom positions" that don't, or won't exist, down the road anyway.

Aspirus and Marshfield here in Wisconsin are laying people off left and right. Care to explain?
Phantom positions btw would be those saved jobs that Obama touts.
Also, Obamacare was a minor point of my thread. Try speaking to the central theme next time instead of doing a typical liberal move and switching the topic and writing a three piece editorial about nothing just so you don't have to acknowledge the real point of the story about the failure of your awesome leader.

Oh, and what was the job they were hired to do?

Explain how Obamacare is actually causing the loss of jobs? Are you referring to the fact they want to put everything on a computer system to eliminate as much welfare, and Medicare fraud? Are you referring to a system that allows you to get treatment anywhere you go, for existing conditions, because they can access your medical records?
If that's the case, you're talking about elimination of redundant jobs that don't need to exist, and should actually reduce the cost of medical care.

Oh now he is all about efficiency in the work place, but when any says the same d**n thing about Union jobs, oh those jobs are vital to the community. Let any other business cut jobs for efficiency purposes and you and happycrapper are having a hernia, but when it comes to Obamacare, the cuts are necessary. Hmmm..its late 2012, Obamacare goes into full effect in 2014, you do the math. Oh yeah. it's just a coincidence.

Efficiency in the work place that eliminates union jobs is acceptable job losses.
If you believe that 40+ kids in a classroom is cool, I guess I'd agree with you. But, wasn't it Ronald Reagan who pushed to cut it down to low 20s per class?
The jobs you claim as lost are directly involved in creating inflated prices for all of us when it comes to health insurance.
I thought that would be a priority with right wingers... apparently not, just because someone else thought of it.

So we kick out hard working Americans out of our healthcare insitutions and embrace illegals. You liberals really have done a number on this country. P.S. Your buddy, Trumka, would disagree about eliminating Union positions to make a company more efficient.

Methinks you speak with forked tongue on this one. Nowhere along the line have I indicated that I would hire illegal aliens to do work that able bodied Americans "will do."
The fact is, the illegals do work that able bodied Americans won't do, and for less money than anyone else would do it.
There's a reason that the state of Alabama is now changing their illegal alien laws, because their farmers have watched their crops die in the fields, unpicked, because nobody will work for the $4 or $5 an hour in the hot sun, doing the picking jobs, except illegals, who use their hard earned monies to send back to Mexico, or other Latin countries, to keep their families from starving to death.
I think you're going to have a hard time proving that illegals are taking jobs that American workers are dying to get.

You have learned well from your Sith Lord. Again, you distort the topic at hand.
No one said anything about hiring illegals. I was talking about illegals using healthcare that goes unreimbursed and the cost passed onto taxpayers and private insurance.
Get rid of the illegals, you'll see a dip in the cost of healthcare.

With the federal program in place, welfare fraud would be reduced dramatically.
As far as those areas where illegals get medical, you have to take that matter up with the courts, who have ruled in favor of them getting medical assistance.
The top courts in California, Arizona, and Texas, have all ruled accordingly.
If you don't like that, get the laws changed so the courts have to rule differently. Don't try to blame the problem on Obama. That's pure crap.

Again, you distort.
No one every said anything about the legality of illegals receiving care; questioning the right or wrong of it.
The point I have repeatedly iterated (stay no topic and dont' get distracted) is that healthcare across this nation is having to absorb the losses from not being reimbursed by passing those losses off to private pay, taxpayers and private insurance through higher cost.
