  IF Romney and Republicans have NOTHING to hide, what's the problem? Congressional Democrats took aim at Mitt Romney on Wednesday by calling for legislation to require presidential candidates to disclose a decade of their tax returns and the value and location of accounts in tax-haven countries. The transparent effort to pressure Romney came from Democrats in the House and Senate, suggesting Congress’s attention, more than ever, is on the 2012 fight for the White House. The call for 10 years of tax returns came from Rep. Sandy Levin (Mich.), the top Democrat on the House Ways and Means Committee. If a law is passed, so be it. This may be something that should have been done a long time ago.

I know, I know. However, tis part of the play the Republican game so that Obama can raise doubts and suspicions re what does Romney have to hide, while diverting attention from Obama. |

Interesting. Comparing the tax returns to the birther crap.
Obama is an American, and was born American. It's just that a lot of Republicans are so embodied with racist beliefs, they figure anyone who ain't white, ain't American.
Like I said, on the tax releases, if they make it a law, that's fine, but if they don't, he has no obligation to disclose anything.

My statement was a variation of Ben Stein's comment, (not verbatim) "Fathom a nation where you need to certify you have health insurance but you don't need to certify your citizenship."
Has nothing to do with the birther crap per your technical jargon.

The "law enforcement" that said it was a fraud was none other than the racist prick Sheriff Joe in Arizona.
That's the only "authority" that has said it's a fake.

Very, very interesting how Republicans REPEATEDLY defend racists and then support Romney and his claims about how they would do soooooo much for Latino's, Blacks and minorities.
