I thought this was typical of today's "media." Instead of reporting on news, "create controversy." There's no need to tell the truth, or even do a little research. Just throw whatever you want on the table, and watch everyone dance, while you sit back, and smugly enjoy the show. I give the lady credit. She could have destroyed this "wannabe." tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/2012/07/connie-schultz-sherrod-brown-reporter-email.php

Nope! I don't think it's made up. I think this happens way too often, and it happens to people on both sides of the aisle.
It's a cheap attempt at blindsiding someone, and is supposed to be above journalists, regardless of their personal opinions.
The problem is the internet. People are persecuted out here by thousands of people without cause. They don't even have to say something wrong, someone just has to say they do.
Even worse. I don't like the fact that these "so-called" media people are steeped in their own political beliefs, and twist everything stated into something they can use for ammunition in a blog, or in any way they want.
Just recently, I had someone try to attack me via the internet with unbelievable and ignorant accusations. It even went so far as to happen in the real world. Had it not been for people who knew she was over the top, and out of control, I could have been crucified by those who would just as soon see me buried in the ground, as walking on mother earth.
I was fortunate, and feel blessed, that there are so many people that respect what I do, that they'd step forward in the real world, tell the truth, and demand the attacks not only stop, but the person making them answer for their actions. I also had a lot of people show support for me out here, on the internet.
One person with an acidic tongue, and a hatred for someone, or something, can do a lot of damage to a person, or persons' reputation. I think there needs to be tighter controls on what people call truth.
Since I'm speaking of a first hand situation, I can say I know how people can be vicious out here. I never even had to defend myself, because others stepped forward and showed support.
That's what we have on this site. I'd step up and support any of you, because I've gotten to know who you are, through your words.
I may not always agree with the words, but I don't lose respect for any of you.

I'd back you up. I'm sure Amoeba would be standing behind me as well...maybe 20 feet back, but he'd still show up.
