Ok....my wife thinks I need serious help. I have this obsession with outdoor power equipment. I want to buy another snowblower even though I just bought a 12hp - 32" wide one 2 years ago. I want to get a 5hp or a 7hp single stage rubber paddle snowblower to do some of the smaller work. I have a 3.5hp one but sometimes it just seems too puny. I just got rid of 2 snowblowers a couple years ago and I am in the collection mode again.
Do I need help?
btw - I have a 16hp riding tractor and 2 walk behind mowers in the garage.

It sounds like you need a bigger garage, and the DVD collection from American Pickers!

I'll save you $578 in one word: Shovel. You can find one for about $22.
Unless you live on a massive acreage I would only keep the one thrower. If you have a ton of area to clear I'd recommend getting a John Deer Buck and buy a blade for it and getting a 5hp thrower. Otherwise, keep the big dog and get yourself a trusty shovel.

Way too much to shovel....I'd be out there for 2 days. I considered buying a small plow, but I got the big blower instead
I've been scouring Craigslist looking for a cheaper used one that is fairly new.....no luck yet

I bought a used Craftsman 21" single stage with electric start, about four years old, looks brand new, from a friend, for $75. The only rub I have with it is that it requires the gas/oil mix. But, I can live with it, considering the price.
