Time to start discharging Muslims from the service. This isn't the first time a Muslim soldier has turned on our troops

I'll wait until I know what went down. It's incredible that this guy dealt with the mental health of soldiers.

Time to start discharging Muslims from the service. This isn't the first time a Muslim soldier has turned on our troops . The second I saw the guys name I knew what the focus of this story was going to turn into. You do know that base has seen more losses of troops than any other bases in the country during Afghanistan and Iraq correct? You also know that base has a rehabilitation program for soldiers coming back from combat? Sometimes on their third tour. Why not wait 24-48 hours and find out what really happened before you make ignorant statements. This one is especially an interesting statement considering I just read your thread about you wanting to know why Christians are persecuted; and yet what are doing with that careless and disturbing statement you made?

I wondered what it was going to take to get you back down here into the Town Hall. ;D The act still doesn't surprise me. Most psychiatrist are nutz! I guess this is the second time a Muslim Soldier named Hassan killed his own American brothers. Can we at least discharge those named Hassan?

The deaths of the American soliders at Fort Hood fall squarely on the brass on the military.
The shooter showed signs that he was in no condition to serve the military faithfully. There is a history of this.
You have the shooter trying to leave the military and re-pay the U.S. Government for his training.
Depsite what elected Representatives have said, this man did show signs that he was a sub-par psychiatrist and a sub-par soldier who should not have been in the military period.

I don't want to scare you here PC but the Muslim religion is second in followers next to Christianity. You're bound to run into a Muslim everyday, you just never ask. We should look at all the Christians who shoot up schools and workplaces. We should probably only let Christians join the military.
Let's not look at the fact that for every 750 military personnel there's only 1 psychiatric person to help them and that they may be over worked and over-stressed themselves.
I'm not condoning his actions by any means but there's a bigger problem we need to look at.

Yeah..the shooters a wictim. Typical. Anoterh liberal who wants to screw the system from a very, minority perspective. You know, there are so many others who work under the very same structure that this shooter did and they do just fine. You want to blame the system because in your reality, it's always got to be someone else's fault. Perhaps if someone gave the shooter a trophy for being a loser, maybe his self esteem would have been better aye?

How much peer pressure does it take before a person snaps, and either commits suicide, or does what this guy did?
This is the second incident of a Muslim attacking fellow soldiers. In each case, we're not talking about recent recruits, we're talking about men who have been in the military for a substantial amount of time.
I was listening to some of the comments made by Muslims who served in the military, and how they thought what these two guys did in these events was a total disgrace to their faith, and country. But, the one thing that kept coming up is how all of them were treated by their fellow soldiers. Not one of them talked about being an integral part of the team, and those that served in combat were kind of "on their own," because nobody wanted to have their backs.
We've had so much hard-line rhetoric about Muslims, and the "only good Muslim is a dead one," statement that it's gotten to the point that there's prejudices against them all that's really not acceptable.
Apparently Hitler was Lutheran. Does that mean all Lutherans aren't to be trusted, and we should let them know how we feel in that regard, constantly, so they know we have our eye on them?
That's ridiculous.
Even worse, the Army should have known they had a problem with this guy. Based on the investigations that had taken place, and his name came up, they had substantial reason to believe there could be a problem.
This military mindset that everyone will "do what they're told, no matter what," just doesn't cut it.
Do any of you remember a movie about the Vietnam era, where a Drill Instructor rode an Army basic trainee unmercifully, and in the end, the look on the recruit's face of pure rage, as he killed the Sergeant, and then himself, is a prime example of what can happen when you continuously put someone down, or paint them into a corner.

They say he had some Jewish ancestory, but he was Lutheran. His daddy was Jewish and abandoned little Hitler when he was a boy. The killing of Jews was Hitler's revenge upon his father.
