If you have policies that violate life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, taxation without representation..blah blah blah..you can pretty much guarantee that such policy or program runs contrary to the wishes of our Founding Fathers.

I think we are trying to promote life with universal healthcare, liberty - everyone is free, happiness is what you make of it, and you are represented by elected officals for taxation reasons (among other things).

Surival of the fittest. Lack of health insurance is one way to let Darwin's theory of evolution proceed unfettered by mankind.

GPG, I never said I knew what they wanted either. We can't all pretend that we all know what they wanted. You think that all the founding fathers agreed on everything and they all had the same idea and not even one of them had an ulterior motive? We will NEVER know what they wanted, so to say "The founding fathers never envisioned blah blah blah" makes one look like a jackass because we're not the founding fathers. All of them wrote what they envisioned for the country and in their actions they speak loudly. It is not hard to see what they intended for us and how we as a free market capitalist society should function. You only look like a jackass if you do no research and say we aren't the founding fathers so who knows??!?!?! READ, RESEARCH, and QUESTION EVERYTHING!!!

And one of the founding premise of this nation was and is limited Government.
Do tell how having Obama knocking on my door forcing me to sign a social contract to provide Joe Dope Smoker" Healthcare coverage represents limited government?
