This article would not have the heat it has without the General's recommendation that was given to Obama a month ago, that's the primary reason why people are reading it. Even if we're basing it on his approach given in April he's still 2 months shy of W's 8 month stretch.

Bush's legacy is moot in the current chaos happening in Afghanistan.
Obama was elected for his leadership. He said he would lead and he continues to fail those Generals he put into power to implement his long term ideal of success.
If he plans on underfunding this war, just bring the fricken troops home and quit busting our chops about listening to those on the ground.
More Americans are going to die through Obama's ineptness, so lets save this nation a heartache and bring them home.
Obama's refusal to listen is no differerent then Bush stating, "Stay the course."
LISTEN TO THOSE ON THE GROUND PRESIDENT PINKO!

While I agree with your stance on bringing them home we need to finish this fight. I think we all realize they need more troops there but we can't just throw them into the country without thinking about it first. I don't want to see anymore bloodshed and that could possibly happen deploying haphazardly.

Gee I think you pointed out the one thing McCrystal didn't do when contemplating the needs to win in Afghanistan. McCrystal loves to deploy American soldiers haphazardly. Thank God we have Obama to second guess him.
