Here's the rules. We're going to do a take-off on the Burma Shave signs from the past, and use relate them to the electronic highway signs that are being hacked, with comments being put on them, like the "Watch out for raptors ahead."
Let's keep it extremely clean.
Each of the signs will be either five or six lines long, and the last line will automatically be Burma Shave. Here's a couple of examples of actual Burma Shave ads from the past.
Farmer Brown
Who's bald on top
Wishes he could
Rotate the crop
Burma Shave
Drinking drivers
Nothing's worse
They put the quart
Before the hearse
Burma Shave

When we would visit relatives in Minnesota it was mostly two lane highway. The Burma-Shave posts kept us occupied.

I've been thinking about getting one of these signs, or having one made, with 745 miles on it, for our place in Milton, WI. I thought I'd put it up out front. A reminder, of us having been there.   |
